Joel Todd McCoy NP-BC is from Yukon, Oklahoma. He’s lived in California for 16 years and considers it home. He attained his bachelor of science degree from University of Central Oklahoma and his master of science in nursing from Vanderbilt University.

Todd has long been interested in both cosmetic and medical Dermatology. He loves reading research and applying it to his practice. “I plan to become a well respected expert in all areas of Dermatology and apply that knowledge in the pursuit of helping others.”

Todd enjoys running and other forms of exercise. He and his husband have two rescued dogs that are like children and fill his heart with joy.

Todd began his career in the emergency department and eventually transferred to the intensive care unit where he worked with patients receiving open heart surgery, organ transplantation and those with traumatic injury. For the past six years Todd has worked in post anesthesia care unit. All of Todd’s previous experience has prepared him to assist in surgical procedures and sedation.
