Operation Gratitude, a reputable non-profit, volunteer-centric organization, underlines the power of compassion and altruism by delivering care packages to our military. This venture is more than a mere act of distributing goods; it’s a testament of heartfelt gratitude that bridges the gap between civilians and the active duty and veteran communities, creating a unique bond of unity and respect.

Having dispatched over one million care packages to date, Operation Gratitude strives to meet the evolving needs of our Military personnel. Each package – an amalgamation of various items including snacks, entertainment materials, handmade goods, small plush animals, personal care products, and heartfelt letters from caring adults and students nationwide – encapsulates the essence of home and conveys a poignant message of appreciation. Though the material worth of each package ranges from $75-$100, their emotional value is truly incalculable, offering priceless solace and encouragement to recipients.

In a profound manifestation of collective effort, the items in the care packages are donated by individuals, groups, and corporate entities. Collection drives contribute substantially, while companies extend their support through their own products or employee-assembled “Care Kits”. Monetary donations fund the crucial elements of production and shipping, with an impressively efficient cost of $15 per package.

Earning accolades for its unwavering commitment to transparency, Operation Gratitude proudly holds a 5-Star rating and the Guide Star Exchange Seal. In a testament to its integrity, the BBB Wise Giving Report (October 2013) confirmed that the organization meets all 20 standards for Charitable Accountability. This acknowledgement echoes the spirit of Operation Gratitude – a credible, impact-driven force that continues to lift the spirits of our military communities, one care package at a time.
