Valley Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) is the only FREE HEALTHCARE CENTER providing healthcare to medically underserved Coachella Valley adult residents. VIM is a member of Volunteers in Medicine, a national nonprofit alliance with more than 90 free clinics across the U.S., whose mission is to provide healthcare services in a compassionate, caring way to our neighbors in need.

Old Town Artisan Studios (OTAS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing transformative art experiences to those who need it most, regardless of age, ability, and financial circumstances, with a focus on helping the underserved. The OTAS artisan studio campus provides an enchanting environment dedicated to fostering creativity and enriching lives through the creation of art. The tranquil, historical 3-acre studio campus in the heart of Old Town La Quinta is a haven for artistic expression. Surrounded by tree-lined gardens, charming outdoor patios, and a cascading waterfall, people of all ages and skill sets are inspired to reveal their creativity and experience the healing power of art.
The heart of the OTAS mission is the Mobile Art Program (Community Outreach), which brings positive art adventures throughout Coachella Valley at little to no cost to the student, made possible through generous donations, grants, and partnerships. OTAS offers programs for the elderly, youth, Veterans, people living with Alzheimer’s, and those with a variety of other behavioral challenges. The generosity and support of valued donors and volunteers help OTAS fuel the free and reduced-fee programs for local residents in need. We offer fee-based art classes and “Art of Music” concerts, which help support the mission of bringing art to those most in need.
