Heather White is a board-certified nurse practitioner with over 16 years of clinical experience, specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Heather is passionate about patient education and preventative skin health, combining her strong clinical background with a compassionate approach to care.
Heather will provide patient consultations and treatments at Contour’s Rancho Mirage and La Quinta offices. You may recognize her, as she assisted patients part-time in that office from December to her official start date in February. Heather is proud to be a 5th-generation nurse in her family and is excited to continue her nursing career at Contour Dermatology, which offers a wide scope of medical, cosmetic, and procedural dermatology. She also appreciates Dr. Jochen’s mentorship.
Heather earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of San Diego and holds national board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Heather’s Passion for Dermatology
“As a child, I had many visits to the dermatologist’s office to treat my eczema, acne, and warts. These positive experiences led me to work as a Medical Assistant to a dermatologist before nursing school, and ignited my passion to specialize in dermatology.”
Heather’s personal journey with acne, eczema, and warts has given her a unique understanding and empathy in treating patients. Her goal is to help people heal their skin through practical, affordable care. She enjoys working with patients to create a personalized plan for their skin concerns, helping them heal and become comfortable with their appearance.

Heather Enjoys the Desert Lifestyle
When she isn’t practicing her chosen specialty, Heather enjoys life with her three children and her husband, who is a first responder. She is a Southern California native and a dedicated volunteer at her children’s schools, assisting with their volleyball, booster, and color guard teams. She enjoys hiking and exercising with her family, as well as fun family trips on cruises and to tropical islands.
