Lorena Zendejas has been helping Contour Dermatology patients enjoy beautiful complexions since she joined the practice in April 2017. She has gained a loyal following of regular clients who appreciate her cheerful personality and excellence in skin care as an esthetician. In 2022, Lorena was voted Best Esthetician in The Desert Sun’s Best of Desert campaign.

“I love working at Contour because I get to meet so many amazing people from all over the valley. I feel like they help me as much as I help them,” said Lorena. “I see a lot of regular patients and I love being part of the process and working with them and seeing a change in their skin.”

A native of the desert, Lorena grew up in Desert Hot Springs, graduated from Desert Hot Springs High School and went on to obtain her esthetician license from the International School of Beauty in Palm Desert in 2016. Contour Dermatology was her first position right after graduation.

Lorena also said she knew she right from the start wanted to work in medical esthetics. “I’ve always liked esthetics. I was always into it,” she said. “I feel like an artist, and I love to bring confidence to people and make them feel good. And I can do this with patients of all ages. It really makes a difference.”

With a gorgeous olive complexion, Lorena has never had to deal with acne or skin problems, but she said she knows what to do to help patients who battle breakouts. Lorena performs facials, chemical peels, VelaShape laser treatments, vibradermabrasion, dermaplaning DiamondGlow treatments, waxing, and eyebrow shaping. She rotates her service among all four Contour offices.

A single mom, Lorena has two daughters ages 7 and 12 and a French bulldog named Dallas. “My daughters really like skin care, and I never pushed it on them. They have a whole skincare routine,” she said. One of Lorena’s favorite things to do is to get dressed up and go out to dinner with her girls.
