CVHR’s primary mission is to rescue and rehabilitate horses that have been abused or neglected and place them in loving homes. They offer equine-assisted programs that will enhance the quality of life for children and adults.
We’re calling on your support for their horse rescue operation. Each horse in their care requires $500 monthly for upkeep, including food, medical attention, and training. While full sponsorship is an incredible gift, they also offer shared sponsorships. Your generosity helps provide them with care, love, and a chance for a better future.
CVHR Community Programs
Horse Care Volunteer duties include preparing lunches, feeding horses, cleaning stalls, cleaning water, and filling lunch buckets. You can email the volunteer coordinator at volunteer@cvhorserescue.org
Horsinalities Veterans Bootcamp connects our veteran community and horses, providing love and healing! Horsinalities Kid’s Camp is an exciting way to get kids outside and teach them the joy of connecting with horses!
CVHR works with local Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops to provide opportunities to work on goals and service projects to earn badges. Horse Tales is a reading and painting program for children of all ages. Kids bond with horses as they read to them and, afterward, create a special work of art on canvas using non-toxic paints and oats.
