It’s fall and that time of year when we swop sandals for warmer footwear. Socks are essential for good foot health and warmth. You probably have a favorite pair of socks and dozens of socks in a sock drawer. But there are people just a few miles from our offices who have hit a bump in the road of life and are homeless or in need of community resources. One thing we can do as compassionate neighbors is to help those in need at the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission.

Would you like to be a sock hero this Socktober? When you’re out and about shopping, make a point to buy some socks – all kinds – for men, women and children and drop them by any Contour Dermatology office. We are collecting socks for their annual Sock Drive and invite you to join us. Your donation of socks can be a warm touch to help make a warmer winter for our neighbors in need.
