Dysport is made from the same active ingredient as Botox Cosmetic® and works by temporarily reducing the appearance of wrinkles by restricting the muscle actions that cause creasing and frown and lipstick lines. Like Botox, Dysport is administered via an injection at the site of wrinkles, and it has been in use for several years in more than 26 countries worldwide. Dysport is currently available at The Laser Center at Contour Dermatology in Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage.
