Meet Dr. Kameron Rezzadeh, Contour Dermatology’s new innovative board-certified Plastic Surgeon. He joined the practice in May 2024 and brings many years of specialized training to his unique position at Contour. He is currently seeing patients interested in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. Dr. Rezzadeh has top-notch credentials and a passion for providing exceptional start-to-finish medical care for patients.

Dr. Rezzadeh's Educational Background

Dr. Rezzadeh’s credentials include board certification with The American Board of Plastic Surgery. He received his Medical Degree from Rutgers University, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick, NJ, and performed his Fellowship/Residency at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Los Angeles, CA. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society.

He was born in New York City and was inspired to pursue a medical career by his grandparents, parents, and a sibling, who are also medical professionals. “I was drawn to helping people. I think that is the primary objective of any good doctor.” He said he was honored to continue his family’s tradition of providing start-to-finish medical care to ensure patients heal well.

Dr. Rezzadeh received a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Northwestern University in Illinois, where he worked as an undergraduate researcher for the prestigious Wasielewski Research Group, Department of Chemistry.

He Found His Dream Profession in Plastic Surgery

He explained why he chose to specialize in plastic surgery. “I have a passion for aesthetic surgery and for improving people’s confidence and their quality of life,” explained Dr. Rezzadeh, elected as a member of two medical honor societies. “I found my dream profession,” he says when he decided to specialize in plastic surgery.

A plastic surgeon is a specialist in performing procedures for the cosmetic improvement of a person’s appearance and reconstructing facial and body tissue defects due to congenital disabilities, trauma, illness, and body tissue disorders.

“Plastic surgery is a unique specialty in the sense I’m performing procedures on patients who are otherwise healthy.” Dr. Rezzadeh explained. “My goal is to improve patients’ quality of life and ensure their experience is top-notch from start to finish. Similar to Dr. Jochen, I really want people to have an amazing experience when they choose Contour Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery Center.”

Dr. Rezzadeh sees patients interested in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery to enhance their appearance and self-esteem at the Rancho Mirage office. He will confer with Dr. Jochen and other Contour Dermatology providers on surgical procedures to renew a youthful appearance with natural-looking results performed at a local Surgical Suite. His specialties include breast lifts, breast augmentation, liposuction/lipoplasty, neck lifts, and tummy tucks.

Dr. Rezzadeh is highly regarded as a notable scholar who has had numerous journal publications and presentations on plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is passionate about performing cosmetic and reconstructive surgery based on research partnered with a visual and artistic flair. He looks forward to providing patients with a comprehensive surgical experience from initial consultation to impeccable results.

When not seeing patients, performing surgery, or providing follow-up care, Dr. Rezzadeh enjoys playing tennis and is contemplating taking up golf while enjoying the Southern California lifestyle.
